Preparing for Parliament

I just came back from Parliament. I was there at 9.30 am to do my Covid 19 test which was conducted via drive thru at the basement carpark; results will be out in a couple of days.

After that, I dropped by to touch base with the Speaker to discuss my International Relations and Trade Committee work. My committee had completed the hearing on Palestine before the political crisis in February. The report is also 95% completed. I asked the Speaker to help ensure that the report on Palestine, is actually completed by the Parliament officers and published.

Moving forward, all select committees are set for major reshuffling in May and June. Therefore, before the major reshuffling, it will be good to finish my committee report; so to put us on official record.
