Bill Kayong, PKR candidate for Bekenu in the last Sarawak Election, was shot dead this morning in Miri.
I met Bill a few times in Sarawak while campaigning for Abun Sui over the last two years. He always had a wide smile with him. He was friendly, helpful and was a very dedicated party member.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
