KIDEX Independent Review
My research officer was at the MBPJ briefing session on KIDEX this morning. MBPJ presented to lawmakers two independent reviews it commissioned.
The results: 8 key points against KIDEX. The scope of the review included the planning process, traffic analysis, choice of alignment, social impact assessments and the issue of land acquisition.
The independent reviewers found the traffic diverting points to be unfair to residents of PJ. They also highlighted the poorly conducted social impact assessment for KIDEX, which failed to consider a larger sample of residents. In short the reports do not support KIDEX.

MBPJ also plans to hold a public hearing on these reports very soon.
