What do you usually do on a Sunday morning?
Sacrificing their usual rest time, 6 fantastic doctors from Medical Outreach PJ provided free consultation & medication to 142 residents, including many kids (the paediatrician was a big hit!). Meanwhile, 2 pharmacists & 5 medical volunteers dispensed medicine & measured blood glucose/pressure at a terrific pace.
Ex- & current interns from our & YB Hannah Yeoh‘s offices reunited as a team of 15 volunteers. MPSJ ferried tents, tables, chairs on the day before; while the Rukun Tetangga came out in full support and gave out drinks & apples (surely not to keep the doctors away) on the day itself.
This all happened on Sunday 5 March, 9a.m.–1p.m., at Pangsapuri SS19. Tania here, thanking everyone above for their excellent cooperation that enabled the medical camp to go on swimmingly!
