I am stuck at home because several major arterial roads near my home are reported to be closed. Woke up at 6.30 am and spent the morning with my children. I also wrote this short Malaysia Day poem.
Unity in diversity so we always say but today united we are in choking grey
Hoodwinked are some by those who plunder that on Malaysia Day we should keep our nation asunder
Yes, the times are tough and full of fear but I believe Malaysians and Malaysia shall emerge united once the political haze clears
In diversity we stand the true meaning of Malaysia Day we must defend
so give me your hand together we shall reclaim from wayward leaders this beautiful land
