Amanah Against the Dedak Culture

I am at the Amanah convention, listening to Mat Sabu’s speech. I must say that Mat Sabu has the wisdom to talk openly about patronage politics. He warns of the dangers of leaders in governments whether federal or states, practising patronage politics. These leaders surround themselves with cronies, use money to buy support and then reinforce their positions as leaders.

Mat Sabu wants Amanah to fight this culture and not to be trapped by this dedak culture. He hopes his party will continue to elect leaders based on ability and meritocracy. I concur.
