My office just started an “anonymous tip” letterbox after receiving feedback that many people are still afraid to come forward to report on local crimes.
For the last week or so, I have met 3 persons who casually remarked to me about illegal activities but then when I asked them to file a police report, they say that they “don’t want to get involved”. In response to this, we have decided to set up an “anonymous tip” letterbox at the gate of our office. We will do our best to follow up on any legitimate tip and take appropriate actions.
