YB Wong Chen requested that the Prime Minister state his agreement to table an immediate amendment to the Standing Orders to allow a fixed weekly schedule for Private Member's Bills. This proposal aims to let these bills be presented ahead of government affairs as practiced by the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
The Prime Minister replied that he has taken note of this proposal. He added that any such proposals should be brought to the House Committee and the Standing Orders Committee to be considered and further refined.
