I am at the Sessions Court 3 Jalan Duta this morning for Rafizi Ramli‘s OSA case. The judge will rule in the next few minutes on whether there is a case to answer. If yes, then Rafizi will have to prepare for his defence.
9.57 a.m.
The judge has just ruled that there is a case to answer on Rafizi . The OSA trial will now proceed to a critical phase on the next court date.
For those who are not well verse with this case, Rafizi is being charged for allegedly revealing a page of the Auditor General report on the 1MDB scandal.
The government now seeks to put him in jail for revealing the mother of all financial scandals, that the whole world now knows. The minimum sentence is one year and the maximum is 20 years.
10.22 a.m.
The government will expedite the Rafizi’s OSA trial, with defence case to start on 27th September at 3 pm. Then it will continue on October 6th and 7th for conclusion. This is a highly efficient court.
