This is a historic morning in Subang Jaya as Opposition leaders are gathered for a roundtable discussion on coalition politics. Senior members of PKR, DAP and Amanah were present together with NGOs.
Dato Seri Wan Azizah, as President of PKR and Leader of the Opposition chaired the meeting. The meeting kicked off at 10.30 am. Kak Wan lead with an opening speech, stressed that there are differences between the parties but we must unite to save Malaysia. Lim Kit Siang spoke then followed by Mat Sabu.
PKR, Amanah and DAP announced the formation of Pakatan Harapan at 2pm. Dato Seri Wan Azizah made the announcement with Kit Siang and Mat Sabu. Finally, the Opposition has resurfaced after a long period of dysfunction.
